Happy palindrome day

The date on Tuesday the 22nd of February was both a palindrome and an ambigram. A palindrome is a word, number, phrase, or other sequence of characters which reads the same backward as forward. An ambigram means a visual that is the same even upside down. It is a rare occurrence in calendars, compared to a palindrome. On Tuesday the date read the same from left to right, from right to left and upside down!

Watch this short video of our children celebrating palindrome day – they didn’t get to demonstrate it upside down 🤣, but enjoyed showing us the palindrome aspect – how the date read the same the left to right and right to left!
