We love Joey!

At Michael Faraday, we took part in the Great British Bark Off 2022.

It’s a week to raise awareness about dogs and children. It’s brought to you by a charity called Underdog International. Their motto is Children Helping Dogs, Dogs Helping Children and the theme for this year was: ‘Not all heroes wear capes.’

During the week, some of the Year 5 children in Laura’s class wrote some letters to Riana, to say thank you for having Joey in school, our school dog. That was very kind and thoughtful of them to say ‘thank you’, and much appreciated!

Riana read the letters to Joey and he was very pleased to hear that he is so loved by the children at Michael Faraday.

Joey is so popular, we wanted to make sure all the children who would like some Joey time, could request a time for a special cuddle at least once a half term.
