Y4 Bug Hotel!

Year 4 have created an amazing bug hotel in our playground.

We have been learning about biodiversity and its importance in science, as well as it being a big focus as a school. We have also been learning about how, in Judaism, people carry out good deeds in order to show their connection to their God, for example taking care of the world they live in.

We thought this was the perfect opportunity to carry out our own good deed for the environment around us, and to help the biodiversity in our school grounds.

We worked really hard at creating some cosy habitats for insects that want to use our hotel and we will be going back soon to see if anyone has taken up residency in our very own BUG-INGHAM PALACE!
