For weeks, children at Michael Faraday have enjoyed a feast of strawberries from our organic edible garden.
During Science Week, we also planted potatoes, carrots, onions, garden peas, tomatoes, sweet peas, and broad beans.
In the playground, we have all enjoyed the transformational and fascinating journey of seeds into plants, flowers, fruits, and vegetables. We have been looking after them, watering them, and even being delighted to see how wildlife thrives around them: ferocious ladybirds devouring aphids, busy bees, buzzy bumblebees, svelte wasps visiting flowers to feed, and even lots of brightly coloured butterflies.
We are proud to be improving this area for the enjoyment of the school and community!
