It has been such a colorful and creative week in year 3 as the children have continued their beautiful art work! Both Chanice and Kate have continued to be pleasantly surprised by the amazing botanical pieces that the children have developed and created and could not be more proud!
We have continued to develop our fun art project this week, focusing on rubbing techniques and adding tone. The children have been learning to apply observational drawing skills to create detailed studies using texture and produced a stunning abstract drawing for their final piece. It has been exciting to see the progress that they have made and how they have combined all their new skills to draw detailed flowers. They done so well on their first masterpieces and we are looking forward to seeing what else they create throughout the year.
