Pizza making fun (Y3)

Kate’s class was in for a delicious surprise last week – a pizza-making session! Head Chef Tracey kicked things off by explaining the science behind pizza dough, showing us fascinating images of how yeast works its magic. The children were excited to roll out their own dough and watch it bubble as it started to rise.

Next, they got to top their pizzas with healthy ingredients of their choice (the great pineapple debate was definitely a hot topic!). While Tracey cooked, packaged, and delivered the pizzas, we watched an informative video about the history of pizza.
