Last week, Year 5 had some very special visitors from all over the world at Michael Faraday! As part of our Geography topic, we were introduced to a range of animals native to the Amazon Basin, as well as creatures from other biomes like the African savannahs and rivers. It was incredible to see these beautiful animals up close. Some were cute and fluffy, while others were a bit more intimidating!
Everyone did an amazing job of staying respectful and gentle with all the animals. We had a fantastic time learning from Ben and Ryland, and even the teachers got involved in holding the animals—though some were braver than others!
Year 5 are now all experts on animals, so feel free to ask us anything!
