Bright sparks investigating circuits (Y6)

This term, our Year 6 children delved into the fascinating world of electricity as part of their science curriculum. They explored how the number of bulbs in a circuit affects their brightness. Through hands-on investigations, they discovered that adding more bulbs to a circuit made each bulb dimmer.

The class linked their observations to the concept of resistance, using scientific reasoning to explain why the brightness changed. It was a fantastic opportunity to apply their knowledge of circuits in a practical and engaging way. Learning about electricity has never been more illuminating!
