Talking chips (Y3)

Year 3 have been practising our new Kagan co-operative learning skills this week! We’ve learnt ‘Talking Chips’, where children have to ‘spend’ a token to share their idea – a brilliant way of ensuring that everyone has an equal chance to speak. We’ve also done ‘Round Robin’ where children share ideas in their groups, and ‘Rally Robin’, where they rally ideas back and forth in pairs.

We were also lucky enough to visit the local Una Marson library again. The children really enjoyed sitting in its cosy corners and reading their books.
