Lucy’s class has had an incredible start to the new term! We’ve been focusing on building resilience and teamwork through various Kagan strategies, such as Rally Coach and Heads Together.
Our new history topic on West Benin has sparked curiosity, and we’ve started a writing unit centred on information report writing. The class has been full of brilliant actions and expressions as we dive into learning our report, titled Swamp Monsters.
To foster creativity and collaboration, we designed a class flag along with individual team flags to represent our table groups. We’ve also thoroughly enjoyed teaching each other new subtraction methods, making maths even more engaging.
It’s been a fantastic start to the term, and we can’t wait for the continued learning, growth and fun that lies ahead!
