In Science, we have been learning all about materials and how their shapes can change. We explored different ways to change solid objects by stretching, twisting, squashing, and bending them.
To start, we experimented with playdough, testing how we could change its shape using these actions. Then, we carried out the same tests on a range of materials and recorded our results in a table.
It was fascinating to see which materials could be easily shaped and which ones stayed the same. We can’t wait to continue our investigations next week!
