Inspiring the next generation of footballers at our school!
Over the past six weeks, our school has participated in an incredible football programme led by Girls United. This international organisation empowers girls through football, helping them develop confidence, leadership and a passion for the game.
The programme focused on inspiring female role models in football and beyond. Pupils discussed the qualities of great role models and reflected on their own strengths, gaining valuable leadership and resilience skills.
After half term, the girls will take part in a Girls United Showcase, refining their football skills and practising interview techniques. The following week, they will put their learning into action in an exciting tournament.
We are so proud of the enthusiasm our pupils have shown and look forward to seeing them grow in confidence and ability. Football is more than just a game—it’s a platform for empowerment, teamwork and leadership!
