This half term Year 3 are working on video editing! Our challenge was to create a trailer for a book, starting with a hand-drawn storyboard, taking photos and eventually using iMovie to edit it all together and add effects. This week we started tinkering with iMovie, working out how to choose a suitable template and then put our pictures in. We thought about the different shots we wanted to include – close-ups, over the shoulder, action and more. The children really enjoyed working out for themselves how to change the text from the template and preview their work in progress!
