A royal start to the summer term!

We kicked off the summer term with an exciting experience for a group of our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils, who were invited to take part in a very special event hosted by Mentivity – with none other than the Prince of Wales in attendance!

Mentivity is a wornderful organisation run by inspiring individuals from our local community, providing support for young people through their mentoring programmes and regularly visit our school as part of their outreach work.

The future king was welcomed by Mentivity’s founder, Sayce Holmes-Lewis, who himself grew up on the Aylesbury Estate. Of course, the highlight for our pupils was seeing one of our very own Year 6 children take on the Prince in a video game – and almost win! In true royal fashion, our pupil showed great sportsmanship and graciously let him take the victory!
