This term, the children have been exploring the Pond Habitat!
The school pond is a brilliant outdoor classroom. It offers endless opportunities for hands-on learning – from spotting tadpoles, water beetles and pond snails, to observing how plants like duckweed and reeds grow and change.
Nursery will be returning to the pond regularly to see how it changes over time and to keep building our understanding of this rich and fascinating habitat.
