Year 2 had an exciting adventure at the Horniman Museum! We took part in a fantastic workshop all about Kenya, where we explored real objects from African life. We touched colourful fabrics, played traditional instruments, and even handled toys children might play with in Kenya today.
The highlight was examining real animal skulls – including a lion, a zebra and an enormous cow! We were amazed by their size and shape.
Afterwards, we explored the aquarium where we saw tropical fish, elegant jellyfish and tiny seahorses drifting through the water. It was a day full of discovery, wonder and fun!
