Years 1-3 were so lucky to have a visit from a real-life author who told us all about his book, Buzz Sausage Wolf! Buzz Sausage Wolf is all about a little dog who is wondering, is he more sausage or more wolf? Author Jim Beckett gave a very entertaining assembly where we got to think about unlikely friendships between animals (how would a shark and a bee be friends?), hear a silly song sung by an orangutan, and design our very own sequel to Buzz Sausage Wolf!
After the assembly Jim was available in the playground for book signings. If anyone didn’t manage to get a book, you can get one from your local bookshop or very soon from our own school library!
