Year One had an exciting and educational trip to the Horniman Museum this week!
We started our adventure in the amazing Butterfly House, where the children walked among butterflies of all shapes, sizes, and colours. It was like stepping into the Amazon rainforest! The children were fascinated as they observed the butterflies up close in their natural-style habitat.
Next, we explored the aquarium, which was full of fascinating sea creatures from around the world. From tiny tropical fish to unusual marine animals, there was so much to see and learn.
Our journey continued through the museum’s fantastic exhibitions. The children enjoyed discovering animals and bugs from the past, as well as exploring displays of clothing, and markets from Nigeria and other parts of the world.
It was a fun-filled day packed with plenty of curiosity. A big well done to Year One for being such enthusiastic explorers!
