To celebrate the end of a fantastic year, Year 2 got creative by designing their own t-shirts. Using line drawings, they illustrated their favourite colours, memories and interests — a perfect keepsake to remember their time together.
We proudly wore our t-shirts on our special trip to Ruskin Park Playground and Paddling Pool! The children had a brilliant time splashing in the water, zooming on the zip line, and enjoying a big picnic with friends.
Here’s what some of them said:
“I liked the swimming pool and the park because I got to play with my friends and have fun,” said Maryam.
“I liked the paddling pool because it was hard to run in the water and I didn’t go to a paddling pool before,” said Alpha.
“I liked the park because it had a long slide and I also liked the swing that had the two seats and two people go on together,” said Emma.
A fun-filled day and memories made — what a way to end the year!
