Year 2 have been doing an amazing job using their Kagan strategies this term. In English, the children tried out the Showdown strategy to check their understanding of the key events in our new story, Alfie’s Star. Working in their table teams, they asked and answered questions together, showing great listening, cooperation and communication skills.
Kagan strategies are such an important part of learning at our school because they help every child take part, share ideas and learn from one another. By working together in this way, children not only deepen their understanding of the lesson but also build confidence and teamwork skills that will support them across the curriculum.
