Year 4 have got really stuck into Talk 4 Writing this week, performing our class text “The Canal” and also putting on our best storytelling personas to tell our own stories. We watched a video of an inspirational storyteller in order to inspire us on how to engage our audience and keep them on the edge of their seats. The storytellers were accompanied by performers who helped embody the characters and bring the stories to life.
All of this oral rehearsal will really help when we start to write our stories next week!
