Year 2 have been exploring printing techniques as part of our Art learning. Linking to the National Curriculum objective to develop a wide range of art and design techniques using colour, pattern, texture, line, shape, form and space, the children took a small section of their previously drawn maps and transformed it into a design on a polystyrene tile.
They carefully used ink to print their designs, experimenting with colour and pattern to create wonderful results. As you can see, many of us were delighted with how our prints turned out — each one unique and full of creativity!
