Last week, year 6 took a trip to The Houses of Parliament. We were lucky enough to have a tour which included The House of Lords, the throne room and a room which was a thousand years old. We also saw the procession of the speaker. After our tour, we had a workshop to learn about the three parts of parliament and also how laws are made. The children also enjoyed a visit from our MP Miatta Fanbulleh, where we were able to ask her questions about what motivated her to become an MP and how she could improve public places for children.
