This week in Year 1, we have been reading the Paddington stories. We learnt that Paddington comes all the way from Peru and that he loves marmalade sandwiches! Inspired by him, we decided to make our own sandwiches, but we chose jam because we like the taste of jam more.
While we enjoyed our sandwiches, we also talked about London landmarks. We looked at some photos and had fun seeing which ones we could name. It was a lovely way to connect our story learning with the world around us!
