This term in reading comprehension, Year 3 have been using Kagan Talking Chips to share ideas and predictions for The Hodgeheg and The Boy Who Grew Dragons. Each child places a chip in the middle before speaking, making sure everyone gets a turn. This Kagan stragegy encourages careful listening, respectful turn-taking, and thoughtful responses, helping all pupils gain confidence and contribute meaningfully to discussions.
In Spanish, the class took part in an exciting tile hunt around the classroom! Using their knowledge of colours and shapes, the children followed clues to find the right tiles. This fun, active game helped them practise vocabulary, solve problems, and work as a team.
Year 3 showed fantastic enthusiasm, focus, and creativity in both activities -learning, collaborating and enjoying every step of the way. ¡Muy bien, Year 3!
