Our Reception children have been having fun exploring Maths through hands-on, practical activities and are developing their mathematical skills in exciting and engaging ways! The children have been learning to recognise numbers, count accurately, understanding how numbers are made up and have been exploring different ways to represent the same number. These activities support the Early Learning Goals, helping children build confidence, develop their mathematical thinking and discover that Maths is all around us. We are so proud of their enthusiasm, curiosity and growing confidence as young mathematicians!
