Year 2 have been using maps as a stimulus for our art and craft work this half term. We drew imaginative maps and developed them into 3D artwork. Afterwards, we used shapes from our original maps to create an abstract, stained-glass window display. Finally, we turned a section of our maps into a print. The outcomes at every stage of this project have been delightful, making our classrooms a wonderfully colourful place to be!
