In Year 5, we have recently dived into the world of computer science during our latest computing lessons. Using school Chromebooks and BBC Micro:bit pocket-sized computers, the children learnt about text-based and block coding.
The young programmers successfully learned how to write code that takes a real-world input (like pressing a button or shaking the device) and turns it into a digital output (like flashing an LED light message or playing a sound). We are incredibly proud of their problem-solving skills and creativity as they build essential skills for the future!
