With the Amazon Rainforest being slightly too far to travel, we arranged to bring a little of the Amazon to Faraday. The Spirit of the wild workshop included chances for the children to learn about, as well as handle, a range of animals from around the world. The workshop included creatures from pythons and spiders, to colourful birds, and adorable mammals. It was an amazing opportunity to bring our learning to life and experience these incredible creatures up (very) close and personal.
