In the first half term, Year 5 completed their computing topic on animation. We created our own animations using an app called Stop Motion. We loved working with our partners and even shared some of our work with a few Year 3 pupils.
In science, we wrapped up our topic on forces with jam-packed lessons full of experiments! We built slingshots and levers to launch objects across the classroom, making learning hands-on and exciting.
In RE, we explored fascinating stories from Sikhism and used atlases to discover where the religion originated.
To end Spring 1, we enjoyed a well-deserved treat—making slime! It was a fantastic way to celebrate our hard work and learning.
