Year 2 have been busy developing their sewing skills in their DT Textiles unit!
We started by using a template to carefully cut out the fabric for our pouches. Next, we learned how to do a running stitch, making sure to tie a knot at the end of the thread so our stitching stayed secure. It was tricky at first, but we persevered and improved with each stitch!
Finally, we completed our pouches by adding our own creative designs. Each one was unique, and we were so proud of what we had made. Well done, Year 2!
