In science we are continuing to learn about plants. We have been researching and observing the plants in our playground, drawing them and considering their similarities and differences. This also ties in well with our geography learning in which we have been considering how the seasons effect the plants around us. As we learnt more about plants we have started to grow our own beans, we watched them germinate in clear bags and once they have roots, we are transferring them to soil pots in our classroom. Eventually the bean plants will move into the year one play area, look out for their arrival!
