At Faraday we are lucky to be surrounded by lots of plants. Our playground has over 1000 different plants growing in it!
We have planters for veg growing too. We decided to harvest some spinach and see if we could make paint! The children used a pestle and mortar and stones to squish and squash the leaves until we had a green liquid. We then tested the colour on paper and then added herb leaves and then even some chalk!
