From still to moving (Y5)

In our computing lesson, the children explored stop motion animation, learning how a sequence of photos can create movement. Working in pairs, they used modelling dough to create simple transformations, planning each step to make their animation smooth. They then used cameras to take photos, reviewing their work with the playback function and improving it by retaking shots where needed. It was great to see their creativity and understanding develop as their animations came to life.
