Miles of Smiles at the Mini London Marathon

On Saturday 25th April, some of our children proudly took part in the Mini London Marathon… and what a great day it was!

Not only did our children show determination, resilience and enthusiasm from start to finish, but it was also wonderful to see such great participation from parents – some cheering on and others running alongside! Layla was even interviewed by BBC just after she crossed the finishing line!

Events like the Mini London Marathon are about so much more than just running. They promote healthy lifestyles, build confidence and teach children the value of perseverance. Taking part in a large-scale event like this also helps children feel part of something bigger, creating lasting memories and inspiring a lifelong love of physical activity.

A huge thank you to Lucy for organising and to the many staff who joined in the run. What a fantastic day it was for everyone! We are already keeping our fingers crossed that we secure a place again next year. Until then… keep running!
