Recently the Year 3 visited The British Museum to support their learning about Ancient Egypt. The children were very excited to hunt for the hieroglyphs they had learned about, as well as other symbols and representations. They got to examine statues of different Gods and pharaohs, as well as the sarcophagi they were buried in. The class then got to learn more about daily life in Ancient Egypt from one of the museums experts, by looking in detail at images and sculptures showing what life was like for more normal people, thousands of years ago.
