The children have had a wonderfully busy start to Year 6, embracing the demands of their new curriculum and taking on the many new responsibilities that come with being the oldest children in the school. Since starting the new academic year, they have shown great enthusiasm, maturity and determination and this continued this week with their first lunch with Reception.
In Geography, the children also put their newly acquired knowledge of San Francisco and Death Valley to the test by creating their own Quiz Quiz Trade cards. They then challenged their classmates to see how much they could remember from the lesson, making learning both fun and interactive!
We hope Year 6 have a wonderful year ahead, filled with exciting learning, new challenges and many happy memories along the way!
