Year 2 had a wonderful time exploring the forest and foraging for natural materials to create their very own woodland animals. This activity brought our non-fiction learning to life as the children used what they had discovered outdoors to represent some of the animals they have been researching and writing about. They enjoyed getting creative while thinking carefully about the features and characteristics of their chosen woodland animals.
