Our Year 6 children have been working incredibly hard this year, preparing for their Key Stage 2 SATs. These tests are an important opportunity for pupils to demonstrate their core Literacy and Numeracy skills and help them feel confident and ready for the challenges of secondary school.
At the same time, we are committed to maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum. Now that SATs are behind us, we’re making sure our Year 6 pupils have plenty of chances to develop their creativity—and enjoy a bit of well-earned fun!
To celebrate the end of SATs week, the children took a trip to Hollywood Bowl. There were plenty of strikes, smiles and shared laughter—an ideal way to mark this important milestone. Well done, Year 6!
