Year 5 had great fun in science this week becoming engineers for the day! Working in teams, the children designed and built wind-powered pulley systems to lift a paper cup. Through lots of testing, teamwork and problem-solving, they explored how levers, pulleys and simple machines help movement and make work easier. A fantastic hands-on lesson with lots of creativity and excitement!
