In year one we have started writing Animal Fact Files. To help us understand the features of a fact file we have been reading about Tree Giants. We used our imagination and the information from the Tree Giant Fact File to help us draw tree giants in groups. We enjoyed adding collage to create the texture of leaves and bark; we discussed adding extra features with our group members and drew additional features that we will add to the fact file when we start writing our own version.
