Building brilliant castles (Y3)

As part of their Design and Technology (DT) learning, Year 3 have been putting their creativity, problem-solving and teamwork skills into practice by constructing a castle using scrap materials, tissue paper and a variety of colourful craft resources.

The children carefully planned their designs before selecting and joining materials to create different features of their castle. They explored how to make strong structures, evaluated their ideas and adapted their designs as they worked, showing great resilience and imagination throughout the project.

This exciting activity was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the school year and showcase all the skills the children have developed. What a great final hurrah before the summer holidays! We wish all of our Year 3 children and their families a happy, safe and relaxing summer break.
