On Tuesday, children from Year 1 to Year 6 took part in an exciting Aylesbury Hoarding Artwork Workshop, creating artwork that will soon brighten the hoardings around the Aylesbury Estate.
Working with Catherine from Cockney Green, the children etched their own stencils into polystyrene sheets before printing colourful designs inspired by their local area, London landmarks, and their favourite things.
They also worked with Eduard Sacrest, a local visual artist and muralist, using stencils and water-based spray paint to create vibrant street art inspired by his work.
The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring new artistic techniques and are incredibly proud of their creations. We can’t wait to see the finished artwork on display and celebrate at the Summer Reveal Event on Friday 12th September!
